Registration is now open for the 2026–27 season with the Cardiff Rugby Referee’s Society.
Whether you are already a member, returning to refereeing, or thinking about picking up the whistle for the first time, we would love to hear from you.
Our CRRS Membership & Interest Registration Form is open to:
- Existing society members
- Referees returning to the game
- New referees aged 14 and over
- Anyone interested in learning more about joining the society
You do not need to be on our mailing list to complete the form. If you are part of the Cardiff rugby community and would like to get involved, you are very welcome.
A friendly place to develop
The Cardiff Rugby Referee’s Society supports referees at every stage. You might be taking your first steps in officiating, getting back into rugby after time away, or looking to sharpen your skills as an experienced referee.
Through our monthly meetings, coaching, mentoring and match discussions, we help you build confidence and stay connected. We also discuss real-life match situations, keep up to date with law changes and welcome guest speakers from the WRU and the wider refereeing community.
Don’t worry if you are new. You will not be expected to know everything straight away. Our society is here to help you learn, ask questions and enjoy your refereeing journey.
Membership for the 2026–27 season
Membership costs £15 annually.
There is no deadline to register. The form is open now, so you can complete it whenever you are ready. Registering early will help us keep your details up to date and share information about meetings, development opportunities and the season ahead.

First meeting of the season
Our first society meeting of 2026–27 will take place on:
- Date: Monday 14 September 2026
- Venue: Llandaff RFC
It will be a great opportunity to meet fellow referees, hear what is planned for the season and begin building the connections that make our society so special.
